Sunaina Puri arrived in Bombay three years ago with a desire and passion to create and design. Educated in the United Kingdom at Central Saint Martins and later at Parsons School Of Design in New York, she started her affair with design at 12 and has never stopped since. She arrived in Mumbai in 2006, knowing no Hindi and has successfully opened her chic Colaba workshop with her karighars to create her visions.
Her style evolves around mixing east and west with panache and ease. Her clothes are easy to slip into and seem to always make a statement of their own. She refrains from repeating her designs, always producing less than more. She embodies flamboyancy and likes to develop extraordinary intricacy in each of her creations.
Women like to evolve everyday; "Armaan" Sunaina's label always offers her clients an individual and original look. From simple lace shirts, glamorous and elegant dresses as well as mens shirts and fabulous sherwanis. "Armaan" is the label that India was waiting for. She hopes to follow on to reach global locations and eventually take the fashion world by storm.
